    What Does Water Aerobics Do To Your Body?

    1. Helps Build Strength

    When exercising in water, you’re working against the resistance of water so by simply kicking and cupping the water you contribute to muscle development.

    2. Helps With The Recovery Of Injuries

    Your body weight is considerably lighter then submerged in water. This buoyancy means you do not experience the same impact on your joints or muscles as you would exercising on land. So it’s an ideal way to exercise and strengthen an injury to the knee, hip or foot.

    3. Lowers High Blood Pressure

    Aqua aerobic workouts are perfect for those who suffer with high bloody pressure. Your heart rate can be reduced considerably when exercising in water compared to on land.

    4. Enhances Balance and Coordination

    Water exercise helps you build stability, improves your balance and expands your muscle strength for better coordination. This in turn affects your movement both in and out of water.

    5. Reduces Stress, Anxiety And Helps With Insomnia

    Participating in water exercises can reduced stress and anxiety. The water has a calm and soothing effect on your brain and can it turn help you to have better sleep.

    6. Helps With Pain & Health Problems

    Water aerobics helps deal with arthritis and back pain. The waters buoyancy lowers the impact of your movements. Helping to relieve the amount of stress placed on your joints and muscles. Warm water also helps relieve pain and inflammation around joints and swollen muscles.

    7. Increases Endurance

    When exercising for an extended period of time you’re heart, lungs, and muscles all work together increasing your fitness and endurance. Regular water fitness classes are recommended.

    8. Helps With Weight Loss

    Studies have shown water exercise reduces body fat and can lower your cholesterol levels. Although the amount of calories burnt vary depending on your size, the intensity of your workout and the depth and temperature of the water. Faster movements in deep cold water amount to a greater weight loss.

    9. Increases in Body Flexibility

    Gaining overall body flexibility is one of the many benefits of water aerobics. The water density adds a resistance causing joints and muscles movements that you aren’t used to.

    10. Stops Over Heating

    Exercising in a pool is great for keeping bodies cool during a workout. It helps to stop overheating and is a great choice of exercise especially in hot weather.

    What are the general rules for attending swimming pool at Flight Fitness?

    Our rules are based on hygiene and sanitary standards and regiments for swimming pools and gyms, occupational health and safety standards and last but not least, your comfort and convenience. Please familiarize yourself with rules and regiments before your first training

    What do I need to visit the pool?

    First of all, your personal hygiene items: soap, shampoo or shower gel, body scrubber, towel. Following the basics of personal hygiene is very important for your own health and for the health of others around you.

    Second of all, swimming gear: swim suit, shorts or speedos, a cap and goggles.

    Do I need a clearance from the doctor to attend Flight Fitness swimming pool?

    Regardless of the current ssanitary epidemiological situation in order to access the pool, children under the age of 16 must present:

    - medical clearance for attending physical training sessions

    - Enterobiasis test results

    - You have to present the clearance before your first training at the pool

    What is medical clearance?

    In order to attend any physical training sessions one must present an official medical clearance document that allowes the individual to perform physical activity. Process of getting the clearance is regulated by Ministry of Health of Russian Federation under the bill # 134N from March 1st 2016.

    Based on the results of the medical screening, an individual will be assigned to one of the four following groups:

    • Group 1 — Eligible for taking part in sport activities and competitions, including public ones on a recreational level
    • Group 2 — Eligible for taking part in sport activities with minor limitations but not eligible for attending mass start competitions
    • Group 3 — Eligible for engaging in sport activities with major limitations
    • Group 4 — Eligible only for recreational physical activities.

    Based on the results of medical screening, medical clearance is given to the participant either stating there is no limitations found for performing physical activities or

    containing a detailed list of limitations. Medical clearance is given for 1 year and the process of attaining medical clearance is regulated by the Ministry of Health and Soical development of Russian Federation, bill #441N from 2nd of May 2012.

    What is the minimum age for attending Flight Fitness swimming pool?

    Our pool temperature allows kids as young as 7 years old to attend the swimming pool

    Can you teach an adult to swim?

    Of course! You will be more than welcome in our fitness center! Regardless of age, experience, and level of skills our trainers will not only teach but make you fall in love with such beautiful sport as swimming. Experience swimming at its best — only in Flight Fitness Center!
